This darling white nylon shirred<br>baby / doll bonnet with white satin ribbons is excellent vintage condition.<br>Dating back to the 1950s, the bonnet<br>has a closed, gathered back and a tiny brim on the front. The bonnet is made from a delicate white, cut-out shirred nylon that resembles lace. Two white satin chin ties are attached to the sides of the bonnet. Inside of bonnet is fully lined in a solid white, cotton batiste material.  So cute!  (See pix.)<br>Bonnet is unmarked as to maker or size but it definitely is made for an infant.  As you can see in the photos, the bonnet is too small for the doll modeling the bonnet.<br>For reference, the doll's head in the photos measures approximately 15" in circumference when measured at the mid-point of her forehead.<br>If you measure the bonnet at the back from the crown to the lower edge, the "drop" is approximately 2".  Definitely, this bonnet is made for a smaller doll or infant baby and would stunning on either one.<br>Bonnet is in excellent vintage condition.  No rips, holes, stains, or repairs.
